Use the shortcode generator in the post editor

[spiffy-calendar] for the monthly calendar

This displays the full calendar, following the options configured on the Spiffy Calendar > Options page.

Accepts arguments cat_list.

[spiffy-minical] for the mini version of the monthly calendar

This displays the mini sized calendar.

Accepts arguments cat_list.

[spiffy-todays-list] for the list of today’s events

This displays a list of today’s events. The format may be the default popup display or the new expanded display.

Accepts arguments cat_list, limit, none_found, show_datestyle.

[spiffy-upcoming-list] for the upcoming events list

This displays a list of upcoming events, as far in the future as configured on the Spiffy Calendar > Options page. The format may be the default popup display or the new expanded display.

Accepts arguments cat_list, limit, none_foundstyle.

Bonus Shortcodes

 

[spiffy-camptix] for ticket purchase form (bonus)

Display an order form for your Spiffy event tickets. The order form may be filtered by category. It will list all active tickets, allow you to select a quantity for each ticket, and link to the CampTix checkout page for the purchase.

Accepts arguments cat_list.

[spiffy-submit] for the front end submit form (bonus)

Display a form that allows a site visitor to post a basic event.

Accepts no arguments.

Arguments

cat_list

A comma separated list of category IDs, such as cat_list=’1,4′. This argument is supported by all shortcodes.

limit

Default is unlimited. This option allows you to display a maximum number of events in the Upcoming or Today’s Events lists.

none_found

Default is blank. Defines a text string to display when no events are found for Today’s Events or Upcoming Events. (Since 3.4.0)

show_date

Default is ‘false’. When set to ‘true’, the current date will be displayed at the beginning of the Today’s Events list. (Since 3.4.0)

style

Default is ‘Popup’. This option allows you to specify ‘Expanded’ to view the alternate, expanded display format in the Upcoming or Today’s Events lists. This shows all of the event details in the list, with no popup.

The shortcodes do not provide a title. If you want a title you must enter it in your post.
